Pick a song and start your FNF Variety Vault Plus adventure!
TWELVE GAMES, TWELVE RHYTHM CHALLENGES
In FNF Variety Vault Plus, you follow the incoming notes with the arrow keys or WASD to maintain the rhythm. Some songs require additional actions, so Space and Shift become important when special mechanics appear. The exact controls depend on the current song. Space can be used for jumping, dodging, blocking, or mashing, while Left Shift and Right Shift handle certain movement and door mechanics. Enter or Escape pauses the game, and Escape or Backspace can return to menus.
Twelve Games, Twelve Rhythm Challenges
The game combines rhythm gameplay with references to 12 different games. Five songs are available at the beginning, including Sock, Awakening, Koopalings, Skullbreaker, and Another Winter. Every song can introduce a different mechanic. For example:
- Awakening: Players use shield notes to block attacks and Space for a late obstacle.
- Koopalings: Adds jumping to avoid wand attacks.
- It's Me: Requires players to manage doors using the Shift keys.
- Cheesin': Uses bouncing cheese notes.
- Genie Jam: Adds cannonballs to dodge
- Mega Man: Introduces dangerous ice notes and escape sequences.
- Sonic's Our Future: Uses rings as health and adds attacks that have to be jumped.
Turn Mechanics On or Off
Open the gameplay settings and turn off the Mechanics option. With mechanics disabled, actions such as dodging and door interactions are removed. The difficulty rating also becomes lower for affected songs. The game records whether a song was completed with mechanics enabled or disabled.
