Enter the dark world of Friday Night Dustin’: Dusttale, an Undertale-inspired rhythm game. Face Sans and hit every note!

Friday Night Dustin’: Dusttale is a Friday Night Funkin’ rhythm game inspired by the Dusttale universe of Undertale. Boyfriend enters the Underground and faces Sans and other familiar characters in intense musical battles. With 22 songs, story-driven encounters, and special note mechanics, this mod offers more than standard rhythm gameplay. Follow the beat, watch for tricky notes, and uncover what awaits in the Underground!

FACE CHALLENGING NOTES AND DARK TUNES

Friday Night Dustin’: Dusttale requires you to press the arrow keys or WASD keys correctly with the unique notes that appear on the scroll bar:

  • Dodge Notes: These appear in the Overthrone game. You have to dodge them (you cannot press them), and each accidental press will deduct health points.
  • Karma Notes: Appear in the Vindication arc. If accidentally pressed, your health bar will continuously deplete for the next 5 seconds.
  • Hate Notes: When you press them, the game screen will dim progressively. If the screen goes completely dark, the next Hate note will trigger an Instakill (instant loss).
  • Undyne's Spear Notes: In the song "Cornered," Undyne's spear notes fly horizontally from outside the main melody and unexpectedly change direction in the final seconds.
  • Undertale Attack Bar: Midway through the Broken Reality level, Undertale's original combat interface will appear with the message "PRESS SPACE!". Your precise actions on this energy bar will directly determine the ending of the week.

Discover the Game Modes

  • Story Mode: features four locked parallel worlds (Dustswap, Dustfell, Dustbelief, Dustshift). You need to collect resources to purchase "Keys" in the Shop to access them.
  • Freeplay Mode: Initially, only the first song, Perseverance, is available. Subsequent songs will only appear after you complete them in Story Mode or purchase the corresponding CDs using in-game currency.
